Manchester Valley High School will be presenting their first play of the season – East of the Sun, West of the Moon on November 5th, 11th, and 12th, 2016.
East of the Sun, West of the Moon features a young girl battling supernatural forces to free a young man from a terrible spell. Karen is on a quest into the dark Scandinavian wilderness, populated by magical trolls, mysterious hags and talking gargoyles. Without hesitation she struggles to save a young man from the curse that makes him “a bear by day and a man by night.” Humor and heroic adventure accentuate this adaptation of the epic of a girl achieving adulthood.
The play will be shown on Saturday, November 5th at 1pm and 7pm, as well as on Friday, November 11th and Saturday, November 12th at 7pm at Manchester Valley High School
