National Night Out was on August 1st from 6 to 8 pm, and was held at the Manchester Carnival Grounds. The local fire and police departments had public safety information displays, and were raising awareness about crime, violence, and drugs. Different community groups also had stands set up and were doing raffles. Attendees enjoyed free food, games, and socializing with others. Vehicles such as fire trucks and police cars were on display open for kids to explore and learn about the police and fire departments. It was a great opportunity for the community to learn about emergency services and local organizations. You can visit the event page from the Manchester Volunteer Fire Department here.
