Sphero Fun at the Library

Are you interested in learning about technology, including robotics and software? Do you learn best through hands-on activities and interactive tools? Come check out the North Carroll Branch Public Library’s Sphero Fun event this summer! Attendees will learn basic programming skills to maneuver Sphero robots through obstacle courses, and even get to participate in glow-in-the-dark Sphero races. The Sphero robots are educational toys designed to help teach young people about programming in a fun and engaging way.
This workshop will be at the North Carroll Branch Public Library, located at 2255 Hanover Pike, Hampstead, MD. It is for children and teenagers aged 11 to 17. The event will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018, starting at 1:00 PM. A separate session will begin the same day at 3:00 PM, if you are unable to attend the first one. Registration is required for all attendees, and will begin on July 2nd. More information about this event can be found on the library’s event page.
